07/212/23 Tobin School Team Holds Site Tour for MBK617

In partnership with Eric Martinez, North Atlantic States Carpenter Training Instructor and mentor at My Brother’s Keeper 617 (MBK617), the Tobin School team held a site tour for a group of Boston-based individuals to witness the construction process firsthand and to learn about opportunities within the industry. Dan Blumberg led the tour, explaining the infinite complexities associated with large-scale construction while sharing his experiences as a Superintendent with W.T. Rich. Ryan Donovan, Safety Manager, emphasized safety's critical role in every construction project and identified active worksite safety tips. Michelle Wright offered her vast experiences as a union carpenter and encouraged the group to explore opportunities in the trades. We are grateful for opportunities like these that enable us to expose the next generations to the exciting world of construction. Good work Tobin team, and a special thank you to Davida Flynn for organizing such an important event!
