09/262/25 New Project Alert: 158 Spring Street & Adjacent Ahern Field

W.T. Rich has been selected to deliver the 158 Spring Street and Adjacent Ahern Field project for the City of Cambridge. This transformative effort includes the modernization of the 158 Spring Street building and comprehensive upgrades to Ahern Field, with a focus on community accessibility, athletic programming, and improved public-use facilities. Work will include selective abatement and demolition, building envelope and MEP system improvements, site upgrades, and turf and play space enhancements.

Built in a dense residential neighborhood, the project requires sophisticated logistics planning to ensure safety, minimize disruption, and maintain public access. With over two decades of successful partnership and ten completed major projects with the City of Cambridge, W.T. Rich brings deep familiarity with the City’s priorities and collaborative delivery approach.
