Responsibilities

We are seeking a Quality Control Assistant Manager to support the Director of Corporate Operations in the effort to oversee the W.T. Rich QA/QC program and assist project teams in building and delivering exceptional services catered to our clients’ specific goals and concerns. In this role, candidates will get exposed to all of W.T. Rich’s Massachusetts projects and have an opportunity to work and interact with all of our project team members.  Position will also include assisting with the writing and updating of corporate policies. This is an outstanding entry-level construction position for someone seeking significant exposure to a broad range of construction projects and disciplines.

In this role, you will assist the Director of Corporate Operations with:

  • Collaborating and working with clients, owners, subs and W.T. Rich staff
  • Conducting periodic project QC audits
  • Assisting project teams and individuals with the training and refreshing of the QC program
  • Attending and contributing at project team meetings
  • Performing “ride along” inspections with individual project team members
  • Assisting in the creation and upkeep of corporate policy
  • Assisting in the creation of corporate training opportunities
  • Coordinating meetings

Qualifications

Experience/Education:

  • BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or other relative degrees
  • MS degree in related fields is a plus
  • 0-2 years of experience in construction management with a commercial general contractor / construction manager
  • Experience with Procore, MS Office Suites, or other project management software a plus 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail – required  
  • Basic computer skills and competency – required  
  • OSHA-10 Certification – required
