History

W.T. Rich Company was established in 1968 by Walter T. Rich to
provide general construction services to various public and private
organizations throughout the state of Massachusetts. The firm
was founded on the principals and values of its owner – namely to operate
with excellence, reliability and integrity in all aspects of
our business. Throughout its corporate life, W.T. Rich has grown
from a small entity to a multi-million dollar company employing
over 50 employees. We have developed unique capabilities in serving
the public construction market and in performing complex renovation
and historic restoration work. Forty years later, Walter Rich
still serves as the company’s President
and plays an active role in the day-to-day management of the
business. Under his leadership, the firm has developed an outstanding
track record and an enviable reputation among owners, architects,
engineers and sub-contractors.

W. T. Rich and your staff are to be commended for your professionalism, your commitment to excellence and ultimately for the quality of the end product you deliver. On the Engine 8 Fire Station project for the City Cambridge, the project was well planned, on time, on budget and of exceptional quality. There is no doubt in my mind that the involvement of your team was critical to the successful completion of this challenging project and that your work well exceeded the City's expectations.
